Classical Learning Resource Center

CLRC's goal is not to be a school with our own curriculum but to be a portal that connects great teachers and valuable courses to homeschooling parents. Our desire is to serve, bringing together resources that would be sufficient not just for one school but for several, so that we can serve a variety of homeschooling needs. We are not the school, but we come alongside your school, whether you’re looking for a variety of classes to complete a full homeschool curriculum or just that one class that’s more than you can manage on your own.

Essentials In Writing

EIW is a student-centered, non-parent intensive, "doable" complete language arts program for grades 1-12. Literature courses are available for grade 7-12. All courses include an instructional video, a textbook/workbook, and Alternative Instructional Strategies for struggling students. Placement tests, assessments, and grading rubrics are included. Scoring services are available for a low additional cost.

Gateway to the Classics

One of the best online collections of classic literature for children...Our library of books to read online includes hundreds of titles in a wide variety of genres, with special emphasis on history, literature, and natural history. In addition to the thousands of stories we make available to you, we now offer a collection of over 2500 poems.

Homeschool Astronomy

This is the best Astronomy program, good for a complete year of K-8. (A High School version is also available.) Enjoy 28 jam-packed lessons as you and your students tour the solar system at light speed, ride alongside comets with our spacecraft, dodge meteors, discover the height and depth of the universe; explore Pluto, the Ice Giants, the Gas Giants, Mars, the Sun and Moon.

Math-U-See

The Math-U-See Curriculum is a complete and comprehensive K–12 math curriculum. Each level concentrates on a specific set of skills, while continuously reviewing and integrating topics and concepts presented in previous levels. By using tools such as videos, manipulatives, and other resources, the curriculum is designed to appeal to all types of learners.

Rainbow Resource Center

Educational products, curriculum, books, kits, games, planners & organizational aids, etc., all at low prices from one of the largest home school suppliers. Several product lines are Protestant but not be Catholic-friendly. Good resource for basic homeschooling materials, manipulatives, tools, etc.

The Animation Course

Chad Stewart is a former Disney animator on such films as Tarzan and The Emperer's New Groove. He and his wife have been lifelong homeschoolers to their 4 daughters, and 4 adopted sons from Liberia, West Africa. He was inspired by his own homeschooling experience to share his knowledge of animation with other kids and thus, The Animation Course was borne.

American Literature

Aaron Ezis (1967-2004) created the American Literature website in 1997 to share his love of literature with people around the world. He built it page-by-page, adding "A Chapter A Day" to the American Literature Library. Over time he expanded the site with extra features like "The Word of the Day" and then expanded beyond American authors to include great writers from around the world. Categories are by genre and grade level, with a plethora of resources for teachers and parents - comp guides, homeschooling aids, etc.

Cottage Press

Cottage Press Language Arts curriculum combines a classical approach and the practices of Charlotte Mason to equip students and teachers to lead lives well-read. Every lesson at every level in Cottage Press Language Arts provides students and teachers with principles and practice in three essential components of invention, arrangement, and elocution.

Excellence In Literature

Have you always wanted to read the Great Books? With the EIL curriculum, you and your student can enjoy reading, understanding, and analyzing the greatest literature of all time. These challenging, self-directed courses introduce students to full-length great literature in its historical context, while developing skills in writing and literary analysis. Homeschool In The Woods

Catholic Parents should be aware some minor edits may be needed to ensure a faithfully Catholic experience for their children.

Specializing in classical curriculum and live classes in a variety of subjects, including Rhetoric, Classics, Calculus, Latin, History, Civics, and many more. Courses are crafted to delight both students and their parents. One of the better Catholic-friendly, Protestant resources I've found.

These beautiful resources are created by a homeschool mother, "providing simple, beautiful, educational materials so your children's education can be simple and beautiful too." Perfect for all educational models including Traditional, Classical, Charlotte Mason, Unit Studies, Unschooling, Eclectic and Public Education.

Center For Lit

CenterForLit is an online community for Lit lovers and their students, now offering curriculum, online classes, and parent-teacher support networks, all dedicated to helping readers understand and revel in the beauty of classic books. The world’s great literature contains the wisdom of the ages – a treasure worth seeking.

EMH Sports (California)

The cornerstone of our PE program emphasizes Fun, Fitness, and Friendship.
