Registration and Enrollment

All Families, regardless of residence

Families whose primary residence is within California may enroll to be legally covered by MMA's California private school affidavit. You know you are in compliance to homeschool privately and independently and your cumulative files are maintained as any private school.

​

Families whose residence is outside of California may fully enroll with MMA as your school of record. We work together to ensure you are in compliance with your own state's homeschool laws.​​​​​​

​

I work with international families and may provide you with the apostille for your Country.

Partial Registration & Enrollment

California residents only

Families whose primary residence is within California but who are fully enrolled in a non-California based homeschool program may register only with MMA in order to be covered legally to homeschool independently in California.

  • Oxrose Academy (Mississippi)

  • St. Thomas Aquinas (Nevada)

  • Record & Cumulative File maintenance
     

  • Issuance of official Transcripts & Diplomas
     

  • Unlimited Curriculum & Course of Study consultation
     

  • Transfers to and from MMA processed on your behalf
     

  • Issuance of Teacher & Student ID Cards
     

  • Issuance of Work Permits (California students only)
     

  • Assistance with college applications & letters of recommendation
     

  • First notifications of new curricula and resources
     

  • Alerts & Information on proposed or established changes in California and National law pertaining to parental, educational, and religious liberties
     

  • Receipt of Our Lady's Mantle, my quarterly newsletter

California Residents Registration Only

Services Included:

  • Proof of full enrollment in a non-California-based homeschool program
     

  • Collection of information and records to satisfy private school satellite program requirements
     

  • Issuance of Work Permits
     

  • ​Alerts & Information on proposed or established changes in California and National law pertaining to parental, educational, and religious liberties
     

  • Receipt of Our Lady's Mantle, my quarterly newsletter

​

My child is enrolled in an online school located out of the state of California; do I need to file an affidavit?


Yes. Per California Education Code (EC) Section 33190, every California resident person, firm, association, partnership, or corporation offering or conducting private school instruction must file an Affidavit or statement. This enables the filed affidavit as the school of record in California using the out of state online enrollment as the filed school's curriculum.
