Rosary College

Rosary College is dedicated to providing an affordable, rigorous, classical education rooted in the Catholic tradition. They offer a thorough list of Catholic scholarships available for not only Rosary College students, but all other Catholic students, as well. Please see this list of external scholarships to aid you in discernment.
Classic Learning Test
For tens of thousands of students, the CLT and CLT10 are the best way to access scholarship dollars. CLT Partner Colleges have tied over $100 million annually in scholarship dollars directly to CLT scores.
CLT10 National Award Winners also receive a $2,500 scholarship applicable at any CLT Partner College, with additional scholarship opportunities available through their National Award.

Newman Society Essay Contest
The Contest is closed and will re-open in December 2026. Rising high school juniors and seniors can sign up for our Recruit Me program to be eligible for next year’s contest.
Winner is usually announced in May and will be awarded $5,000 toward the cost of attending a Newman Guide Recommended college. Additionally, there is the opportunity for the winner of the Contest to be awarded $20,000 over the course of four years. Several of the Newman Guide colleges have agreed to supplement The Cardinal Newman Society scholarship with additional $5,000 grants over three additional years.
Culture of Life Studies
Pro-Life Essay Contest opens Sept 18, 2026
The Culture of Life Studies Program’s pro-life essay contest began in 2017 and is now held annually during Respect Life Month in October. This year, our contest is cosponsored by the Institute for Excellence in Writing, Contend Projects, and Team Iron Will. CLSP’s essay contest gives children the opportunity to share their knowledge and thoughts about pro-life topics. And it’s a great way for them to win incredible prizes!
Cardinal Kung,
a Defender of the Faith Scholarship
To encourage today’s youth to follow Cardinal Kung’s commitment to practical activity in the service of Christ and His Church, the scholarships will be awarded based on the student’s demonstrated commitment to actively promoting and defending their faith.
Catholic Order of Forestors
The CoF offer scholarships via Fraternal Scholarship, Educational Award, Tuition Assistance Program, and Religious Eduation Assistance Program. Usually, applicants must be CoF members for at least 15 months prior to when the scholarship is awarded and in good standing at the time the scholarship is awarded. Scholarships range from $500 to $1000.
Knights of Columbus
Scholarship Applications Available Online March 5th-April 22nd
​An eligible candidate for these scholarships is a K of C member in good standing, a child of the member or of deceased member who was in good standing. Scholarship candidates should be entering the freshman year in an approved Catholic college in the United States and its territories as a fulltime student in a bachelor’s degree program. Some state councils provide educational funding programs in addition to what the Home Office provides.
