Laura Loroña-Kays, Director of Mantellum Matris Academy, will be in Southern California to meet with parents who are interested in learning more about our program. She will address homeschooling in general in California and present specifically on independent Catholic homeschooling under MMA.

Joining for all meetings is Mrs. Rosemary Circo of Culture of Life Studies. Mrs. Circo will speak to the curriculum and resource offerings for parents on prolife issues and discuss how parents may incorporate such into their lesson plans.

Also joining for the San Diego meetings only is Mr. Robert Pickard of Bellarmine Studies. Based in San Diego, Mr. Pickard has offered Catholic homeschooling students quality academy instruction since 2018. Subject areas include History, Latin, Philosophy, and Theology.

During the meeting times with parents, Mr. Andrew Kays - who has taught elective Humanities classes under MMA - will lead a Socratic Discussion with students on, "Studying Poetry and its Role in God's Creation." This is open to students in grades 8-12.
